From the perspective used it is hard to tell exactly how much this development dominates the local community. But it does dominate. The trees sketched will only soften the impact in the summer months - and since the middle section is reserved for the planned GAA hotel (shown with the dashed line) - this greenery may not even exist in the built development.

The buildings on the left to the middle shown above are being built over the much of the current wild forest along the Drumcondra Rd. They will also be built of over current fields/playing fields in the N.W. corner - the natural flood plain of the Tolka.
